WELL Building Standard

The WELL Building Standard puts occupant health at the centre of building performance. Its ten concepts — Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind and Community — are evidence-based and externally audited.

  • Ten concepts, occupant-centric
  • Mandatory air pre-conditions
  • Continuous performance verification
  • Workplace-friendly framework
  • Globally recognised
  • Stackable with BREEAM

What WELL covers

WELL v2 organises requirements into preconditions (mandatory) and optimisations (point-scoring). Air, Water and Light have the strongest IAQ implications and are where most projects focus first.

Who pursues WELL

Facility managers, property managers, HR and wellbeing leads, health & safety teams, workplace consultants and building owners pursuing premium positioning for workplace assets — typically high-quality offices, healthcare, education and hospitality.

How we support WELL

Gap analysis against the WELL scorecard, evidence pack drafting, on-site performance verification (IAQ, lighting, acoustics), and coordination with your WELL AP.
